Terpenes and Dried Flower

Have you ever had a beautiful cannabis flower.  Covered with glistening resin glands. The aroma was robust and very pleasant; the bud was not overly moist nor even close to being overdried. It was, in fact, perfect in all aspects. This amazing aroma is influenced by the terpenes that the plant produces during flowering

All of the hard work cultivators put into their grow-op can be compromised once the flower is sold and leaves their hands. What was once premium cannabis can quickly and easily become average at any point during its journey to the customer. And once terpenes evaporate after harvest, it adversely affects the quality o the cannabis.

To Maintaining the fragrance, flavor, and effects of top-shelf cannabis the terpene loss has to be kept to a minimal.  Terpenes begin to evaporate immediately when cannabis is in contaimers, out for distribution, and on the shelf and once terpenes are gone, it’s permanent.

Adding terpenes to your dried bud can be great for enhancing what it is already doing, or if it's dried out cause it sat in the cupboard too long, or is too skunky and stale. Have a "strain" that lacks flavour or aroma, add some terps!

There are 2 main methods we suggest for infusing dried flower.

1.) Add about .2mm to your pipe bowl (just lightly coat the bowl) or 1-2 drops per gram of cannabis. It may not seem like a lot but trust us, it is. You can also add a small amount to your grinder, grind the bud and them smoke/vape).

2.) Add two drops of pure terpenes to a clean paper towel . Place paper towel in a sealed container with 7-10 Grams of dried flower. Place in cool , dry place for 24hours to allow homogenization .

*Note:

  • Always Dilute terpenes before use.

  • Never exceed 4% Terpene ratio with dry flower

  • Keep away from children or Pets
